נפגש בנתב"ג לטיסה ישירה לטביליסי, בירת גיאורגיה. לאחר התארגנות נצא את שדה התעופה אל עבר המלון. עד לארוחת הערב, כשרה, ננצל את הזמן להתארגנות ולמסלול היכרות קצר עם העיר טביליסי.

לאחר ארוחת בוקר נצא ליום טיול בקאווקז הגבוה, סמוך לגבול עם רוסיה. בדרכנו אל היעד נסע לאורכו של נהר הארגבי. נבקר במצודת אנאנורי המפוארת החולשת על האגם המלאכותי ז'ינבאלי שנוצר לשם יצור חשמל, ואגירת המים לחקלאות. המראה ציורי. שילוב כחול וירוק. נמשיך בדרכנו צפונה לאורך הנהר. נתרשם ממפגש מקורות הנהר, היובלים הלבן והשחור ליד העיירה פסאנאורי. נמשיך הלאה בדרכנו מעלה. נעצור לתצפיות מרשימות בגובה 2000 מ' מעפ"ה. נחלוף על פני עיירת הסקי המפורסמת, גודאורי, בכביש המתפתל. נעצור להתרשם ממונומנט אחוות העמים המנציח את הקשר ההדוק שבין הרוסים/ברה"מ הכובש עם העם הגיאורגי. מונומנט פסיפס מרשים שניצב בנקודת תצפית מרשימה. נמשיך הלאה ונחלוף על מעבר ההרים הצלב בגובה 2,379 מ' מעפ"ה. ומשם צפונה בדרך הצבאית עד לעיירה סטפנצמינדה. לאורך כל הדרך נהנה מנופים הרריים ירוקים שרועים בהם עדרי הצאן הגדולים. בעיירה נעבור לרכבי 4X4 נוחים שיקחו אותנו במעלה הרכס אל כנסיית השילוש הקדוש בה נהנה מתצפיות מרשימות מערבה על רכס הר הקזבגי, בעל כיפת קרחון, השלישי בגובהו באירופה, 5,033 מ' מעפ"ה, ומזרחה על העיירה הפרושה למטה והההרים הנישאים מעליה. בתום הביקור נעשה דרכנו חזרה לטביליסי.

לאחר ארוחת בוקר נפרד ממלוננו ונעשה דרכנו מערבה אל עיר הנופש המפורסמת, בטומי. בדרכנו נבקר בשני אתרים חשובים ביותר לקשר היהודי גיאורגי ולקבלת הנצרות. נבקר בכנסית הצלב הקדומה, הניצבת על רכס המשקיף על מפגש הנהרות ועל העיר מצחטה העתיקה, בירתו הקדומה של העם הגיאורגי. משם נמשיך אליה לביקור בקתדרלת ה"עמוד החי" החשובה ביותר לעם הגיאורגי. מבנה מרשים שההיסטוריה שלו משלבת סיפור יהודי מעניין. הקתדרלה ניצבת במרכזו של רובע משומר מרשים.  משם נעשה דרכנו מערבה על גבי האוטוסטרדה שנסללה בידי סולל בונה, וכפרי פליטים, בתים טרומיים תוצרת חברה ישראלית, האוצרים בתוכם סיפור הכיבוש הרוסי בשנת 2008. נחלוף על פני העיר סורמי בה היתה קהילה יהודית גדולה ומפוארת ונותר בית עלמין יהודי שהיה פעיל עד לאחרונה. נפגוש בנשים אופות הלבושי בטבונים לצד הכביש. נחלוף על פני העיר כותאיסי טרם נגיע אל יעדנו: העיר בטומי. עיר נמל ונופש על גדת הים השחור. עיר מודרנית שנמצאת בתנופת פיתוח ומודרנה בשנים האחרונות. לאחר ארוחת ערב נבלה בטיילת של העיר המציגה מונומנטים מרשימים ביותר: מבנה האלפאבית, הפסל הקינטי של עלי ונינו ועוד.

היום יוקדש להיכרות עם העיר בטומי וסביבתה. כפי שכבר הוצג: העיר בטומי מייצגת אדריכלות מודרנית של המאה ה-21. בעיר ככרות מפוארות, בתי מלון מפוארים, טיילת מפוארת על גדת הים השחור. צפונית לה גן בוטני היושב על פני רכס הצופה לים השחור, בו אזורים מטופחים מרשימים. בית כנסת מפאר ועוד.    ארוחת ערב ולינה בבטומי.

In the morning we leave Batumi and head east to Tbilisi. We will pass by the city of Kutaisi again, stopping to admire the pottery stalls along the way where we will be impressed by the diverse works, many of which represent the theme of wine: jugs for production, jugs for serving, drinking vessels, cornucopias, and more. (The Georgians claim that wine was discovered in eastern Georgia about 7,000 years ago. A significant component of a Georgian meal is wine. Georgians consume dozens of liters of wine at a meal.) On our way, we will visit the city of Gori. The city is famous for two things: the birthplace of Stalin, and the city that was occupied by the USSR in 2008. In the city we will visit the Stalin Memorial Museum. In it the armored train car with him traveled in Russia, the residence of his parents where he was born, and the last preserved statue of his image on a pedestal. We will continue on to Tbilisi. At the entrance to the city we will visit the amazing monument "The Glory of Georgia" which commemorates the historical heroes of the Georgians from different periods and Christian figures. A monument of large metal towers designed by the painter Amen Tsereteli. From there to our hotel in Tbilisi (near kosher restaurants and synagogues).

Dinner and overnight in Tbilisi.

During these two days we will dedicate our time to the city. We will combine motorized visits to the Old City on the sixth day. Including the cable car/funicular that leads from the city to the ridge that dominates it, Mtsaminde. There is a well-kept park and gardens. A view of the entire city from the west. We will dedicate free time to get ready for Shabbat. Shabbat dinner at a kosher restaurant. In the evening we will walk near the hotel in the beautiful areas of the city. On Shabbat we will complete our acquaintance with the city after prayer. We will take a short route in the city center. During these two days we will meet at the Narikala Fortress, the Great Synagogue of the Georgian community, the Old City, Matchi Square with the statue of Vakhtang Gorgasali, Freedom Square and Europa Park. Dinners and overnight in Tbilisi.

Depending on the free time until we board the flight back to Israel, we will dedicate it to completing our shopping at the Grand Mall and visiting the art market next to the dry bridge. We will enjoy 3 kosher meals: breakfast and dinner served, and a packed lunch. At the end of a direct flight to Israel, we will land full of experiences from an enjoyable trip.
