The modern city – new neighborhoods, innovative architecture, impressive skyscrapers, and wide boulevards reminiscent of both Paris and Dubai. Walk among colorful markets, spectacular fountains, green parks, and contemporary buildings – an experience that feels like a journey through time between generations.

Beyond the cities, breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable experiences await you: the Mud Volcanoes – a rare geological wonder like no other. We will take a midday flight to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. After landing, we will go on a city tour. We will stroll along Rustaveli Boulevard, where we will see the old parliament building, the National Theater, and other public buildings from the city's heyday. Towards evening, we will go to a restaurant for dinner accompanied by a folklore show. At the end of the tour, we will go to the airport for a night flight to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. After issuing visas and getting organized, we will arrive at our hotel to complete our sleep. Overnight in Baku.

After breakfast, we will set off on our first fascinating day of sightseeing in the old city of Baku. We will meet the West and the East kissing each other for the first time. We will visit the Shirvan Shah Palace, the home of the three rulers of this dynasty who moved their capital to Baku and developed it. We will visit the Museum of Miniature Books, the various alleys, and the 'Maidan Tower', where we will climb to the roof for a first view of the city. After a lunch break, we will visit the Historical Museum, which commemorates the city's heyday at the beginning of the 20th century. We will end our visit at the magnificent Carpet Museum. Dinner at a restaurant followed by a tour of the Heroes' Park, from which you will have an amazing view of the city illuminated at night. Overnight in Baku.

We will start the day with a trip to the Absheron Peninsula outside the city. We will begin with a visit to the Ethnographic Museum in the village of Gala. The only place in the entire Baku area where there is fresh water and has allowed for agricultural settlement for thousands of years. We will visit one of the fortresses from the chain of defensive fortresses built in the 15th century east of Baku, to protect against invaders from the east, and we will be impressed by the works of art made from recycled materials that adorn the local art museum. We will continue with a visit to the Temple of the Fire Worshippers, where the Zoroastrian religion developed over 3,500 years ago. A religion that dominated the Persian region for a long time. We will see the "Burning Mountain," the amazing natural phenomenon of a ceaseless fire burning from a gas leak on a hillside. In the afternoon, we will visit one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, the Heydar Aliyev Center, designed by the Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid. We will be impressed by the unique style of the building and its permanent exhibition.

Dinner at one of the city's restaurants, followed by a stroll along the city's beautiful promenade, with the 'burning' flame towers as an exciting backdrop. Overnight in Baku.

In the morning, we will leave for the Gobustan Reserve area west of the city. We will pass through the center of the city's oil/petroleum industry. An area abounding in oil reservoirs, pumping facilities, and grasshoppers - which explain the wealth of the country. We will visit one of the unique and amazing natural phenomena associated with this area, the 'bubbling volcanic mud', which we will travel to in small vehicles. We will observe the young earth mounds topped by pools of liquid mud in which an air bubble occasionally bubbles. We will continue to visit the petroglyph site, rock engravings created by the human societies that existed there. On our way back to the city, we will visit the Bibi Khivat Mosque, the colorful and luminous tomb hall of Khivat, a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad. In the afternoon, we will visit the 'Green Market', Baku's colorful and rich fruit, almond and spice market. If possible - time for shopping. Dinner at one of the city's restaurants followed by a night tour of the city center, through the bright and lively streets. Overnight in Baku.

After breakfast, we will head north towards the High Caucasus, to the city of Quba. We will pass by the large freshwater reservoir that is part of Baku's source of drinking and irrigation water. Upon reaching the height, we will visit the active city bazaar, a Central Asian market. We will visit the Jewish neighborhood, one of the largest and most important Jewish communities of the "mountain Jews." We will visit the magnificent cemetery that testifies to the wealth of the community and one of the two remaining synagogues in the city. We will be impressed by the magnificent palaces built by the neighborhood. After lunch, we will visit an active carpet weaving factory and the site of the Armenian massacre of the city's residents in March 1918. Overnight at our hotel next to the city of Quba. After breakfast, we will set off on a half-day trip with off-road vehicles in the amazing nature of the High Caucasus. We will drive into the mountains to visit the village of Khinalyk *, the village of the Katash people, descendants of one of the ancient Caucasian tribes who still preserve their language, culture and way of life. The village, one of the most isolated and highest in the country, is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We will stroll through the alleys of the village, to the observation deck from the new mosque on its heights and visit the ethnographic museum. We will return to the city of Goba for a lunch break. After that, we will drive to the 'Mount Shah' ski resort, take the cable car to view the mountain peaks, or alternatively take a nature walk - depending on the time and weather. In the evening, we will return to our hotel in the Kuba area. Dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we set off on our journey south. On our way, we will observe the prominent cliff, 'Bash Barmaj', the 'Five Fingers', a natural phenomenon that has become a place of pilgrimage for the locals. We will visit Diri Baba, the tomb of the dervish who lived there in the 8th century and became a local saint. We will continue to the city of Shamakhi, the ancient capital of the Shirvan Shah Kingdom. We will visit the 'Seven Domes' Mausoleum, the tombs of the khan families who ruled the city in the 18th century, and visit the magnificent new Friday Mosque and hear about its story. We will continue to the coppersmith village of Lahich. We will end the day in the tourist area of the Gabala settlement, a luxurious tourist resort, luxury hotels, impressive villas, recreational facilities and entertainment centers built for the Russian wealthy. Dinner and overnight in Gabala.

After breakfast we will head towards Shaki, one of the oldest and most famous cities in the Eastern Caucasus Mountains. On our way, we will visit the city of Oguz, a city where a large and famous Jewish community was located until the collapse of the USSR and its immigration to Israel in the early 1990s. We will visit one of the remaining synagogues. We will continue to Shaki, a city located in a mountainous area that is the cultural capital and city of artists of Azerbaijan. During the tour, we will visit the Khan's Summer Palace, an art center and be impressed by diverse works of art. We will visit a caravanserai, a magnificent and unique 18th-century caravanserai that has survived in the city and now serves as a hotel. After a lunch break, we will travel for a short visit to the village of Kish, a preserved picturesque village built of stone. We will learn about the importance of the ancient Albanian church there. We will end the day by driving to our hotel in Ganja for dinner and overnight stay in Ganja.

After breakfast, we will head to the Lower Caucasus Mountains to visit the 'Blue Lake', a picturesque small lake trapped in the heart of a nature reserve at an altitude of 1,700 meters. At the end of the visit, we will drive to the city of Ganja, the second largest city in Azerbaijan. On the way, we will stop for a short visit to the center of the former German colony, Lehendorf, from the mid-19th century. We will tour the center of Ganja. The important city for the Azeri people. We will visit the magnificent pedestrian street decorated with statues and artistic displays in its historic center, such as the Sheikh Abbas Mosque, the medieval inn, the city hall, and the magnificent Philharmonic building. We will end with its highlight: the National Poet Nizami Museum and the massive Hamsa statue next to it. At the end of a day full of experiences, we will return to our hotel. For dinner and overnight in Ganja.

Ganja (Azerbaijan), Rustavi (Georgia), Tbilisi, Tel Aviv

This morning, we say goodbye to Ganja and set off west to the border with Georgia. After crossing the border, we drive towards Tbilisi. On the way, we will stop in the large and modern city of Rustavi. (If the border crossing is quick), we will visit the 'Glory of Georgia' site, which displays the figures of kings, intellectuals and other leaders from the history of Georgia, the works of the sculptor Tsaratli. After lunch in the city center, transfer to Tbilisi International Airport for an evening flight to Israel.
