פגישת אחה"צ בנתב"ג וטיסת לילה אל סרי לנקה דרך יעד ביניים. בשעת בוקר למחרת ננחת בסרי-לנקה וניסע הישר אל חוף ייבוש הדגים והשוק שלידו בעיר נגומבו. לשוק מגיעה דגת הבוקר, מעובדת ונפרשת על גבי משטחי יוטה לייבוש. דגים המיועדים למכירה נמכרים סיטונאית וקימעונאית בשוק הסמוך. נצפה בסירות הקטאמרן הייחודיות לאזור חוזרות מהאוקינוס אל מעגנם בלגונה. מראה פסטורלי. נמשיך אל מרכז העיר לביקור בשוק הפירות והירקות. כאן נחשף למגוון העצום של פירות וירקות טרופיים שאינם מוכרים לנו. עוד נבקר באתריה המרכזיים של העיר. בשעת צהרים נתייצב במלוננו, לאחר התארגנות ומנוחה קלה נצא אחר הצהרים לשייט בין עצי המונגרוב ומגוון בעלי כנף בלגונה שלצד העיר. ארוחת ערב ולינה בנגומבו. 

בשעת בוקר מוקדמת נבקר בשוק הדגים הגדולים. אליו מובאים בספינות להקות דגים גדולים: כרישים, טונות, דגי חרב ואחרים שנדוגו בים הערבי. עוברים עיבוד טרם הכנתם למכירה לשווקים המתאימים. שוק מיוחד במינו. נשוב למלוננו לארוחת בוקר ולאחריה נצא בדרכנו צפונה למרכז האי. נעבור בינות מטעי קוקוס, בננות, אננס ומגוון רב נוסף של פירות טרופיים. נעצור לצפות במקומיים מעבדים את פרי הקוקוס לתוצר הסופי המבוקש: שמן קוקוס, לבני מצע למשתלות, נבקר במקום מיוחד במינו: בית יתומים לפילים. מקום אליו בשנות ה-70 בעת מלחמת האזרחים הקשה, ריכזו פילים אשר נפגעו או ננטשו לשם הצלתם. העדר גדל עד למעלה מ-80 פרטים החיים במקום. נצפה ב"מקלחת" היומית שלהם על גדות הנהר, ונוכל להאכילם כשהם בדרכם אל או בצאתם מהנהר. בתום הביקור נמשיך צפונה אל "משולש התרבות" לביקור במקדש מערות הזהב בדמבולה, מכלול מערות צבעוניות מהחשובים שבמקדשים הבודיסטים באי, אתר מוכרז ע"י יונסק"ו. לקראת הערב בסיומו של יום נגיע למלוננו באזור הבארנה.  ארוחת ערב ולינה.

יום נפלא לפנינו: נפתח בטיפוס על צוק הסיגיריה, "סלע האריה", אתר שהוכרז ע"י אונסק"ו כאתר מורשת עולמית, המתנשא 200 מטר מעל פני המישור שמתחתיו.  נצפה בציורי הפרסקו של הנשים השמימיות הערומות בני ה-1500 שנים, ונהנה מהנוף המרהיב הנשקף סביב ממרומי הצוק. משם נמשיך דרך הכפרים ושמורת טבע לביקור חוויתי בכפר הכולל: נסיעה בכרכרות מובלות בידי שוורים, שייט באגם וביקור בשדות החקלאיים של הכפר. את ארוחת הצהרים נעשה בבית כפרי במהלכה ידגימו בפנינו אופן הכנתה. בתום הביקור נהנה ממסאג' איור-וודה מענג. לקראת ערב נשוב למלוננו.    ארוחת ערב ולינה.

לאחר ארוחת בוקר דשנה נצא דרומה לכוון העיר קנדי, בדרך הררית יפה ומתפתלת, תוך שאנו מבקרים בחוות תבלינים המציגה את מגוון התבלינים וצמחי מרפא המפרסמים את האי מזה מאות בשנים ומשמשים את האיור-וודה, הרפואה המקומית המסורתית. כאן נתוודע לתכונות התבלינים, דרך הכנתם והשימוש בהם. עוד נבקר במרכז עבודות גילוף בעץ. נראה את מגוון סוגי העץ המשמשים את האומנים, אופן הכנת הצבעים הטבעיים שצובעים את המוצרים השונים ונהנה מעבודות עץ יפות. נערוך ביקור בחצר מקדש ההינדו המפואר בעיר מטאלה. מקדש ההינדו הגדול והמפואר ביותר באי.

אחר הצהריים נגיע לקנדי היישר לביקור ביער הגשם הצמוד לעיר. כאן נערוך מסלול הליכה בינות מגוון גדול של עצים עבי גזע, בחלקם אנדמיים. בערב נגיע למלוננו בעיר קנדי להתארגנות, ארוחת ערב ויציאה לצפות בחגיגות הפרהרה, פסטיבל מקומי שבו צועדים עשרות להטוטני אש, רקדנים ונגנים, פילים מכוסים במיטב המחלצות, והכל על מנת לרצות את האלים שיורידו גשם בעיתו, הכנה לקראת הירח המלא של חודש אוגוסט, חגו של בודהא. בתום מצעד הפסטיבל בשעת לילה מאוחרת נשוב למלוננו.  ארוחת ערב ולינה

עם בוקר נבקר בגן הבוטני המלכותי של פרדאניה, גן בוטאני מרהיב בו מגוון רב של עצים, צמחים ופרחים מרחבי העולם. המקום בו צילמו חלק מהסרט 'הגשר על הנהר קוואי'. נבקר במרכז אבני חן בו נתוודע לאופן כרייתם, מגוונם וייצורם. לאחר הפסקת צהרים חופשית במרכז העיר נבקר ב"מקדש השן", החשוב במקדשים הבודהיסטים בעולם, בו נשמרת אחת משיניו של בודהה, ומשמש כאתר עליה לרגל להמונים מרחבי העולם. נסיים במופע פולקלור. ארוחת ערב ולינה במלוננו.

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel towards the mountains to the colonial city of Nuwara Eliya, "Little England". On our way, we will pass through the land of tea plantations. We will visit a tea plantation and a tea production factory. There we will learn about tea cultivation, how tea leaves are processed into the final product "tea". We will learn to distinguish between the different types of tea and their flavors. We will continue further up the mountains from where we can look out over the Ramboda Falls and the area of the sources of the great rivers that flow westward into the Indian Ocean. At noon we will reach the city of Nuwara Eliya, located at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level, which served as a destination for British officials and government officials to escape the heat and humidity of the coastal plain because of its cool temperate climate. After getting ready and taking a lunch break, we will board small vehicles with which we will drive to the Horton Plains. A unique nature reserve at an altitude of 2000 m above sea level, where we will take an experiential walking route of approximately 5.5 km to the 'edge of the world' and back. For a view from the mountain tops of the coastal plain and the dense cloud forest on the nearby plateau. Towards evening we will return to Nuwara Eliya. Before arriving at the hotel, we will visit the authentic local market and be able to do some shopping in the local brand market. Dinner and overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, we leave Nuwara Eliya and make our way towards the southern coastal plain of the island. On our way, we will pass through the rural and urban areas of the mountain region. We will begin with a visit to the Sita Temple, the temple where the beautiful Sita, wife of Rama, was imprisoned by the evil demon, Ravana, the heroes of the famous Hindu mythology, the 'Ramayana'. A temple that stands out for the colorful statues of the heroes of the story that adorn its facade. We will take a lunch break in the tourist town of Ella, ((Ella at the beginning of a mountain pass that will lead us to the southern coastal plain of the island. On our way, we will visit the impressive Ravana Falls. In the afternoon, we will reach the famous Yala Nature Reserve)) for a safari in off-road vehicles following the three famous animals of the island: the elephant, the Asian crocodile and the leopard, and the other mammals and birds that live in the reserve. At the end of the day, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in the area.

Today, towards the end, we will reach rest and relaxation after the varied days of travel we have had so far. Until then, we will continue with the variety of surprises ahead of us. Early in the morning, we will travel to visit the Kataragama Temple. A temple where crowds of islanders come to receive the blessing of the god Skanda from their distress and to thank him for his kindness to them in the past. We will encounter a variety of ceremonies that are held there. We will return to our hotel for breakfast, after which we will set off along the southern coast of the island to our hotel on its southwestern side. We will pass by picturesque palm beaches, bird sanctuaries and marshes, we will pass through the coastal city of Matera, and watch the stilt fishermen unique to this region. We will visit the ancient city of Galle, (a historical World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO) surrounded by a wall from the days of the Dutch colonialists. Some claim that it is the biblical Tarshish from the days of King Solomon. We will walk along the impressive old wall and its street that preserves the Dutch colonial architectural style. At the end of the visit, we will continue on through one of the areas that most shows the destruction caused by the tsunami disaster of 26/04/2004. In the evening, we will arrive at our hotel on the west coast. Dinner and overnight stay.

We will dedicate the day to getting to know the attractions of the southwestern coast of the island. We will start with a cruise on the Mado River. We will sail alongside the developed mangrove trees, green tropical vegetation. We will observe the waterfowl and large marine lizards on the banks of the river, we will visit Cinnamon Island where we will learn how the cinnamon sticks known to us as a spice are made, and we will be able to watch the locals in their daily activities, fishing and agriculture. We will visit a museum and a factory for the production of traditional masks, where we will see how the masks are carved from soft wood and painted with natural colors. We will visit an active moonstone mine, where we will see how the gemstones are mined from the mine shaft, how they are processed and set as jewelry (jewelry). We will pass through the area that was affected by the terrible tsunami disaster that destroyed everything on 12/26/2004. We will end with a visit to a project to save sea turtles founded by a dear man who dedicates his life to this. In the afternoon we will return to the hotel to enjoy the pool and the beach. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and drive north along the coast. On our way, we will stop in the large city of Kalutara, where we will visit the large Buddhist stupa temple. A temple special in its form and content. We will continue on to the economic capital, Colombo, a bustling city where we will visit its important sites and the market district, Patta, and complete our shopping in a modern shopping center and buy souvenirs at the government store.
